In the years before we founded Crooked River Amateur Club, I was in the leadership role where found that I had very little control over the actual running of the club and the role itself became boring because of one or two people. After a very questionable election, I left. I could see that there was a need for something completly different. A club that caters to it's members with presentations, talks from experts in thier fields...

Specializing in Skywarn and Weather education, supporting Ares, The ARRL and more with a minimum of politics, elections every 2 years with term limits and business meetings held in different spaces, We go out to eat at least once per quarter and of course, we do Field Day, Public events and lots more.
